During our visit, we were pleasantly surprised by the newly-renovated hotel. the room was spotless, and the facilities were well-maintained. We were delighted to find that the restaurant had an extensive menu offering delicious meals at reasonable prices. For breakfast, we enjoyed fresh bread and a selection of cereals. We also appreciated that the hotel was conveniently located near local attractions and had easy access to transportation.
We encountered some difficulty with the temperature in our room. Despite the owners' efforts to make improvements, the air conditioning was not adequate, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Celebrating Christmas in a rural Southland accommodation was quite an adventure. the staff was really friendly and the continental breakfast offered a great start to our day. the cleanliness of the shared bathrooms was very satisfactory. We also enjoyed the fact that the hotel was attached to a gastropub that offered mouthwatering dishes at reasonable prices.
Our experience was worse due to several downsides. the wifi didn't work properly in the rooms and was only accessible in the lobby.
